A Brazilian wax leaves a thin strip or small triangle of hair at the front, while a Hollywood wax removes all hair completely for a fully smooth finish. Both are performed with the same care and attention to comfort your therapist can talk you through the options if you’re unsure which you’d prefer.
How long does waxing last?
Most waxing treatments leave you smooth for 3 to 4 weeks, as waxing removes hair from the root rather than just the surface. Results can vary slightly depending on your natural hair growth cycle and the area treated.
Is waxing painful, and how can I prepare?
Discomfort varies from person to person, but most guests find it very manageable, especially with regular treatments as your skin adjusts. For the best experience, we recommend your hair is at least 5mm long before your appointment, and avoiding sun exposure, exfoliation or other treatments on the area for 24 to 48 hours beforehand.
How should I care for my skin after waxing?
Avoid hot showers, sun exposure, exfoliation and tight clothing on the treated area for at least 24 hours after your appointment, as your skin will be more sensitive than usual. Keeping the area clean and moisturised helps prevent irritation and ingrown hairs.
